Hello, my name is ______________ and I am a constituent of Will Burns living at ______________ (and also a student at the University of Chicago.) I am calling because I want to ensure that workers at the Hyatt coming to 53rd street are guaranteed a fair process to organize, which can only come from acard-check neutrality agreement. The Hyatt is known to be particularly anti-union, and downtown it is threatening to take away workers’ health insurance if they do not sign a substandard agreement by the end of the year. (insert story you heard from workers) Because the Hyatt is asking for TIF money to be built in Alderman Burns’ ward, he has the responsibility to make sure that this fair process is guaranteed.
